The Southern California/ Southern Nevada is pleased to announce that in a competition of 22 chapters it was awarded the 2007 Chapter of the Year Award January 27, 2008 at the PACE Conference.  We would like to thank our membership for its active involvement.  

Our Mission

The purpose of the Southern California Chapter of SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) is to advance the technology and promote the use of protective coatings to preserve industrial, marine and commercial structures, components and substrates within the Southern California Region and abroad.  

Organization

The Southern California Chapter of SSPC is comprised of the local membership of SSPC: The Society of Protective Coatings.  Our local membership covers all of Southern California from Bakersfield to the Mexican Border and is comprised of over 350 individuals. Individual members range from owners and contractors to suppliers and consultants.

We welcome anyone that wishes to participate in our activities.  Our general membership meetings are held 4-5 times per year and these events typically include training seminars, paper presentations,  facility tours, and other networking events. If  you would like to become a sponsor please contact our Membership Chairman.  If you would like to be included in our event mailing, or if you would like more information on the chapter or its upcoming events please contact our Chapter Secretary.  Those interested in applying for the scholarship can review, complete, and submit the Scholarship Guidelines and Application Forms  to the Board for consideration,  or contact the Scholarship Chairman for information.
